From a young age, Jeff was fascinating by computers. Using hard-earned money from a paper-route, he bought his first computer, a Commodore VIC-20 and instantly started to learn about programming.
Flash forward many years, and Jeff is now well versed in a variety of web-programming languages and techniques, and a veteran internet user.
Over the last 10 years, Jeff has been learning about database driven website development, ASP, SQL, MySQL, PHP and other lanuages. About 4 years ago, he discovered WordPress and was driven to learn everything about it. While chasing that moving target, he has learned a great deal about installing and maintaining WordPress and has recently begun writing WordPress plugins and widgets.
In 2009, Jeff started Installed For You, a service that specializes in installing and maintaining installations of open source software. Installed For You also serves as a playground for WordPress plugin development.
In his spare time, Jeff loves to hang out with his husband and their Miniature Schnauzer named Rumble and explore the beautiful city of Vancouver.
